Year 6 Residential – Grosvernor Hall
From 10th – 12th June 2016, our year six pupils will be setting off on an amazing adventure at Grosvenor Hall in the heart of Kent.
Grosvenor Hall is a complete indoor and outdoor education facility set in the grounds of a former manor house in Ashford, Kent within easy reach of London and international transport links.
The hall, originally called Bockhanger Hall, was built by James S. Burra, an Ashford banker. Burra was a keen collector of trees from around the world and some of his collection still stand in the impressive grounds of Grosvenor Hall. Before opening its doors as a Kingswood centre in 2010, the hall was most recently a police training centre with purpose built accommodation blocks and classrooms. These specialist facilities, including a mock courtroom have been transformed to cater for our comprehensive range of educational programmes.
Grosvenor Hall provides a great range of exciting activities and themed modules which are designed to provide the optimum mix of learning outcomes, challenges and fun.
